We have been a member of Lenders One since 2001; a national alliance of independent mortgage bankers. We specialize in FHA, VA and Rural Development (USDA) loans and have our full Eagle, VA LAP Authority and GUS approval which gives us full authority to underwrite all government and USDA loans.

First Republic History
First Republic Mortgage Company (FRMC) was established in 1996, in Indianapolis, by three seasoned mortgage bankers that had worked in the commercial banking area for 20+ years. As banks began to merge and consolidate the customer service level began deteriorating and the quality of service being provided was not what the customer expected. FRMC was formed to address this issue with the goal to hire experienced mortgage professionals who were dedicated to providing exemplary customer service.

In January 2000 FRMC added their first branch in Fort Wayne, doubling the staff. These staff members, as the original staff members, came from the same commercial banking background and with the same desire to build customer relationships and exceed expectations. In October 2008, FRMC once again had the opportunity to grow and added 14 loan originators from a large mortgage lender that was exiting the retail mortgage business. This expanded our presence into Muncie, Marion, Kokomo, Columbus and Avon and based on 2008 production figures made FRMC the largest independent mortgage banker in Indiana, and the largest producer of Rural Development (USDA loans).

In August 2009, FRMC opened its office in Lafayette staffing it with three well established mortgage originators. This solidified the position as the largest independent mortgage banker in Indiana. FRMC grew again in 2011 opening an office in Bloomington. FRMC's mainstay of success has been to hire professional people, treat them with respect, and they in turn will take good care of their customers. That is the goal: 100% customer satisfaction.
